The Walker’s Haute Route takes you from one famous centre of mountaineering to another - from Chamonix, resting in the shadow of Mont Blanc, to Zermatt, nestled beneath the Matterhorn. The route in between takes walkers over a series of dramatic mountain passes and through remote Alpine scenery. Many nights are spent in high mountain refuges, where civilisation feels a million miles away.


Trek through the best mountain scenery the Bernese Oberland has to offer, in this Highlights Inn to Inn Tour. This two-centre trip starts off in Zermatt, the quintessential Swiss mountain town, and then heads to Saas-Fee - just a short train ride away - a little quieter, but surrounded by no less spectacular mountains.


The Bernese Oberland hosts some of the very best of the Alps in general and is as quintessential Switzerland as it gets. This Rail & Trail Tour starts off in the bustling town of Grindelwald, surrounded by Alpine pastures, in the shadow of the famous Eiger and Jungfrau, with the sound of cowbells in the distance. After Grindelwald, you will hop on the train to Mürren, a car-free village perched high on the side of the dreamy Lauterbrunnen valley.


Hidden away in a quiet corner of Switzerland, the beautiful Engadin valley is a paradise for lovers of nature and gentle walks.
