Our Julian Alps of Slovenia Drive and Hike itinerary makes the most of the area, staying first in the village of Kranjska Gora, sitting between the Karavanke range and the Julian Alps. Your second base is in the Lake Bohinj area - situated in the Triglav National Park. An excellent base for accessing the Julian Alps from the south side, along with the lower Bohinj mountains and their beautiful, natural flower gardens.


There are few sights as stunning as the sun setting on the towering limestone peaks of the Italian Dolomites. Discover this famous UNESCO World Heritage Site where mighty peaks rise up above airy forests and glittering mountain lakes. Your first stay is in the town of Cortina, from which you can visit the Cinque Torri, some of the most famous limestone towers in the Dolomites. After Cortina, it’s a short drive to Canazei, a quieter but just as well placed mountain town.


This grand tour takes in the very best of hiking destinations in Switzerland. Start off in a the beautiful Engadin, a paradise for lovers of nature and gentle walks. Then it’s Saas-Fee, surrounded by snow capped peaks, Alpine wildflower meadows and pine forests. Next is Kandersteg in the Bernese Oberland, a great base for hiking, via the Lötschberg car train. Finally, a short hop takes you to the bustling mountain town of Grindelwald, and quintessential chocolate box Switzerland.

Here you’ll find Switzerland's only National Park, alongside traditional Engadin villages, local delicacies and lofty peaks. Based first in the cosmopolitan town of St Moritz, make use of local cable cars to start high on the hillsides. Next is Zernez, a well located Engadin village, on the edge of the Swiss National Park.
